Privacy notice

I, Dr. Pamela Corona, receive and handle the data you leave on this site. I do so as the data controller under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

If you write to me through the contact form, I receive your name, what you are interested in, and whichever way to reach you that you leave: your email, your phone number or both, with the apps I can reach you on. If you like, you also tell me where and when you would like to meet, and whatever you want to say in your message.

The “A little about you” section of the same form asks how you identify, whether you are currently receiving psychological, psychiatric or medical treatment, and whether there is any trauma you would like me to know about. The law treats health data as sensitive, and I treat the whole section that way. Answering it is optional. If you answer it and send the form, you give me your express consent to use that data for the purposes set out below.

The press form asks for your name, your outlet, your email, your phone number and the details of the interview or feature you are proposing.

While you browse the site, Google Analytics records which pages you visit and for how long, where you came from, what device and browser you use, and your approximate city or country. It does not store your IP address, and it never sees your name or anything you type into the forms.

If you email me, I receive your address and your messages. If you write to me on WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal, I receive your number and your messages.

• To reply to you and arrange a session, a training or an event with you.
• To prepare your session with care. What you tell me about your health and your history helps me support you safely.
• To handle interview and press requests.
• To see, in aggregate and without identifying anyone, which pages people read, so I can improve the site. This last use is the only one I don’t need in order to work with you, and you can opt out of it by turning off Google Analytics, as explained below.

I never sell your data or use it for advertising, and I never add you to a mailing list.

Three companies help me run the site and my email, and so receive some of your data. All three store it outside Mexico:

• Netlify, Inc. (United States) hosts the site, receives the forms and emails me each message. Like any web server, it logs the IP address and browser of each visitor, for security.
• Google LLC (United States) provides two services. Google Analytics receives the browsing data described above, never the form data, and handles it under its own policy. Google Workspace hosts my email: it holds the messages you email me and the form notifications Netlify sends me.
• BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slovenia), the company behind Bunny.net, hosts the videos. The player loads only when you press play.

WhatsApp, Telegram and Signal handle your messages under their own privacy policies.

Beyond these, I share your data only when a law or a competent authority requires it.

Google Analytics stores two cookies in your browser to tell one visit from another: _ga and one whose name starts with _ga_. They last up to two years. The site stores no others. If you press play on a video, the Bunny player may use its own.

To stop Google Analytics recording your visits, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.

At any time you can ask me for:

• Access: to know what data I hold about you.
• Rectification: to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete.
• Cancellation: to delete it.
• Opposition: to stop using it for a given purpose.

You can also withdraw the consent you gave me, or ask me to limit how I use your data.

Write to me by any of the means below and tell me which data it is about and what you would like me to do. I may ask you to confirm your identity, so that I never hand your data to someone else. I reply within 20 working days at most.

If I change anything in this notice, for example because I start using another service that receives data, I publish the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
