Who will hold the space

About me

A born seeker of truth, in a doctor's coat. This is the long version: where I come from, what I studied, and why I do not separate medicine from spirituality or from sexuality.

My story

In my own words

My path

Dra. Pamela Corona

Medical doctor · Body psychotherapist · Tantra & Taoist practitioner

I am a born seeker of truth and an explorer of life in all its areas. My own history unfolded in the middle of complex trauma and, at the same time, I had the privilege of access to education. Those two things together are what sent my medical career down an unconventional path.

I am a medical doctor and midwife, trained at the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, with hospital experience in birth and women’s health. No textbook could reach the place where my own history lived, so I kept studying. A master’s degree in clinical psychoneuroimmunology. Body psychotherapy. Somatic trauma release. And, in parallel, years inside the contemplative traditions — non-dual Kashmir Shaivism, Taoism, Qi Gong, yoga — and the sacred sexuality lineages of the International School of Temple Arts.

Hinduism has been a long study of mine, and more recently my attention has turned towards Tibetan Buddhism and the path of Dharma. I am not a teacher of either. I am a student of both, and that keeps me honest about how much there is still to learn.

I do not separate what is usually kept apart. The nervous system and the soul are not two different subjects. In my hands, clinical precision and energetic understanding are the same gesture.

I hold containers for the development of consciousness and sexuality in workshops, courses, retreats and one-to-one therapy, in Mexico and internationally. Over these years I have accompanied more than 300 women and men. What I offer here in Playa del Carmen is the most intimate part of that work.

Human evolution is the restitution of our original potential. Collective trauma can be understood, met, and transformed — with precision and with sustained practice.

What I work with

An integrative approach

My method brings together the deepest and most effective tools and methodologies that have marked my own path and accelerated my own transformation, set in a coherent order. The process is personalised, and it respects each person's own pace of integration and their own needs.

  • Body psychotherapy
  • Somato-energetic sexuality
  • Somatic trauma release
  • Tantra and Taoism
  • Yoni egg and crystal wands
  • Clinical psychoneuroimmunology
  • Yoga
  • Integrative functional medicine

Every process is made by hand. None of these tools is applied from a catalogue — they are chosen for where you are and what your nervous system needs.

Dance and art

Dance

In 2017 I performed Arabic, oriental, Hawaiian and Tahitian dance in Chihuahua: at the UACH University Auditorium, at festivals in the city and, as a solo, at the Plaza del Mariachi.

In their words

What people take away

The most common thing people say afterwards is that they had not realised how much they were holding.

  • What captivated me most was her ability to integrate science and spirituality, bringing a unique perspective backed by wide experience in both fields. Her capacity to create a safe space made for an authentic and profound sharing. Thanks to her workshops, I now see Tantra not only as a practice but as a philosophy of life that uses the body as an instrument of transformation, and touch to honour, release and heal the other.

    Isabel AbantoMontreal, Canada

  • I became aware of what a marvellous gift existence is, and of how important it is to let myself live and feel everything, the light and the shadow. Sexuality as the key to reaching our deepest waters and letting existence enter us. The body as the guide for finding and releasing the emotions that are stuck.

    KarlaMexico

  • One of the best experiences of my life, mainly for giving myself the time. Without any doubt it changed my life in every sense: I was able to see and recognise myself as the Goddess I am and who lives in me, to know myself deserving and creative. To recover my sensuality and my sexuality fully. To make peace with myself.

    Jazmín RomeroMexico

  • Arriving home after the retreat, with no contact with my phone: the change in what I expect is incredible, just from changing my mindset. Leaving the retreat I was vibrating only in love and abundance, and I did not have to wait half a second for all those blessings to arrive.
